Trump Wonders If Outgoing CIA Director Leaked Dossier

The controversial Donald Trump dossier published by BuzzFeed last week has been widely dismissed as “fake news.” Both liberals and conservatives have scoffed at the uncorroborated document that suggested that Russia had incriminating information on the president-elect.

But the question remains: Who leaked it?

Well, after hearing about an interview that outgoing CIA Director John Brennan gave with Fox News’ Chris Wallace Sunday night, Trump is under the impression that Brennan may be to blame.

In his conversation with Wallace, Brennan lamented how openly critical Trump has been of the intelligence community, while also questioning how prepared Trump was to face international threats, particularly those from Russia.

"I don't think he has a full appreciation of Russian capabilities, Russia's intentions," Brennan said.

Trump considered Brennan's comments a lecture and offered a sarcastic and accusatory response.

When the "Fox and Friends" anchors asked Vice President-elect Mike Pence on Monday morning if Trump's antagonistic relationship with these agencies is harmful to the country, Pence insisted Trump understands the dangers and is ready to "reengage the world." In addition, Pence pointed out the president-elect is surrounding himself with highly qualified experts.
