5 Things You Probably Don’t, But Should Know, About Ken Cuccinelli

If Terry McAuliffe had his way, voters would believe his Republican opponent in the Virginia gubernatorial race wants to “take women back” and is “too extreme” for the Old Dominion.

Here are a few things the Democrat may not have told you about Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

1. He has fought against sexual abuse since he was in college.

2. Thanks in large part to his office’s efforts, the Polaris Project, a nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking, named Virginia as one of the most improved states in 2010 in regards to laws and penalties regulating human trafficking.

3. He was the first attorney general to file a lawsuit against Obamacare, the president’s wildly unpopular health care law, which only six people successfully enrolled in on day one.

4. He is passionate about reforming mental health, once donating $100,000 to a Richmond-based mental health services organization.

5. He has proposed to save an average family of four $700 in taxes.

Bonus:

He once pulled a truck driver from a burning rig.

Now a little about his opponent. McAuliffe’s “War on Women” campaign against Cuccinelli is so false, that Women Sick of Stupid Lies, a coalition of professional women, stay-at-home moms, and students disgusted with “gender-baiting” in politics, held a press conference Friday to set the record straight about McAuliffe and Cuccinelli, the former of whom has pledged to keep Virginia’s abortion clinics shielded from regulations, even after reports reveal they are rife with safety violations.

You have the facts Virginia, the rest is up to you.
