Deep Breaths, Everyone: The First Lady Changed into Sneakers

Earlier this morning, I wrote about how First Lady Melania Trump was criticized for her shoe choice on the tarmac to board Air Force One. Melania wore a pair of heels, as she typically does any time she appears in public. The media, and Twitter, naturally, flipped out and accused the First Lady of being out of touch.

Good news, you guys: she changed into something a little more sensible for a disaster area on the plane. 

And again, even if she didn't change shoes, I think we can trust Melania Trump, a grown woman who probably understands how rain, weather, and floods work, to pick an appropriate pair of shoes for an occasion. Wearing heels isn't a sign that she's "out of touch." Good grief. She's not in charge of the country. She's the First Lady. Let's tone things down a notch.
