Today Is The Fifteenth Anniversary Of President Bush's Epic World Series First Pitch

Fifteen years ago today, President George W. Bush threw one of the most statistically perfect first pitches in the history of baseball.

The pitch, at Yankee Stadium barely a month after terrorists attacked the city, was seen as a beacon of hope for a hurting nation. The crowd rang out in cheers of "U-S-A" after Bush threw a perfect strike down the center.
