The 2016 election has been a doozy, by all measures. For one woman, however, it might have just been too much to bear. Her obituary claims that she chose death as a way to avoid voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

NOLAND, Mary Anne Alfriend. Faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68.

After her obituary hit the web, it quickly went viral as people empathized with her and mourned her passing.
