Protesters Replay Blasey Ford's Testimony on Big Screen Outside Federalist Society Dinner

The Federalist Society hosted a dinner Thursday evening featuring Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The event was held at Union Station in Washington, D.C. The activist group, We Demand Justice, caught wind of the event and quickly organized a protest, bringing in a huge TV screen to replay footage of Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before Congress during Justice Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing.

In her testimony, Ford accused Justice Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a party back when the two were in high school. After Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court, a 400-page report was released by the Senate Judiciary Committee finding no evidence to support Ford's allegations or any of the other allegations made against Justice Kavanaugh.

In September, a video surfaced of Christine Blasey Ford's leftist activist attorney, Debra Katz, admitting that part of what motivated Ford to accuse Justice Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct was Ford's desire to protect abortion and the Roe v. Wade decision.

"He will always have an asterisk next to his name," Debra Katz told an audience in Baltimore. "When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade we will know who he is, we know his character and we know what motivates him. It's important that we know and that's part of what motivated Christine."

As Cortney notes, all of the current Supreme Court justices have spoken at Federalist Society events.
