Kamala Harris, if she wins the DNC mess still being figured out, will have become the Democrats' nominee without ever in her career receiving a vote from a Democrat presidential primary voter.
In 2020, she dropped out before the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. In 2024 she wasn't running for president.

For Coons to say Democrats will "unite" is certainly laughable! Further, if Biden isn't fit to run for reelection, how is he fit to work on any of these things?!
Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) is a strong Biden ally and has also been a Biden campaign co-chair. Just Friday, as I covered on Saturday, Coons made a curious statement/post as he said Biden was "weighing... Who is the best candidate to win in November and to carry forward the Democratic Party’s values and priorities in this campaign?" Coons also posted not long after that he still believed Biden told him "he's in it to win it."
One thing to think about in retrospect…This is not something Biden wanted to do. He wanted to stick this out. The way this unfolded towards the last minute and ultimately by an overthrow through the party leaders was ultimately a self-inflicted wound. They should have been doing…

This should remind everyone that Obama did hallow out the Democratic Party under his presidency, and everyone thought it would be fine because Hillary was going to win in 2016 and rebuild the many state party apparatuses that atrophied.
Hillary had promised to rebuild the state party infrastructure if she won.
Then, Trump beat her, and the grand plan to win back the historic backbone of the Dem Party--white working-class voters--became a bash white people fest, with woke antics that eventually drove non-white working-class voters closer to the GOP.
The result is you get many people who sound great on MSNBC fall apart when the bright lights are on them during national elections. Kamala Harris is a prime example.
