Another 'Mandalorian' Star on Verge of Getting Canceled

Just a couple weeks after his co-star Gina Carano got the boot from "The Mandalorian," comedian Bill Burr may find himself just as canceled. Burr did not have as big of a role on the Disney+ series, but he did have leading roles in at least two episodes as mercenary Migs Mayfeld.

Burr presented the Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Album on Sunday, as well as several other similar trophies, and while doing so he quipped about political correctness.

"How many feminists are going nuts, 'Why is this cis-white male doing all this Latino stuff?'" he asked.

Burr also joked about wanting to "kill himself" when he walked onstage to piano music, and when he presented the best regional Mexican music award to Natalia Lafourcade, he mispronounced the singer's name.

"I can't say the name," he said. "The Grammy goes to Natalia Lafourcade. I will accept on behalf of her. If I butchered her name, I'm sorry. Natalia, you won."

Social media users were either offended or impressed by Burr's non-PC jokes.

Burr's controversy comes after Gina Carano compared today's treatment of conservatives to the treatment Jewish people experienced by Nazi Germany. She claimed that Disney bullied her. And her supporters suggested that Disney was guilty of a double standard, considering that "Mandalorian" star Pedro Pascal made his own series of controversial comments, likening the experience of undocumented children at the border to the Holocaust.
