Fifty-two-year-old Richard Beasley is scheduled for a pretrial hearing Wednesday in Akron on trial scheduling issues.

The self-styled chaplain from Akron has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder in the slayings of three men and the wounding of a fourth. He could face the death penalty if convicted.

A 17-year-old co-defendant has pleaded not guilty to juvenile counts. Brogan Rafferty was a student at Stow-Munroe Falls High School in suburban Akron when he was arrested in the fall.
