Alaska governor's office to release Palin e-mails
(CNN) -- More than 24,000 pages of e-mails relating to Sarah Palin's term as governor are scheduled to be released Friday by the state of Alaska to CNN and other news organizations.

The release follows Freedom of Information Act requests filed by CNN and five other news agencies that date to 2008, shortly after Palin was tapped to be Sen. John McCain's running mate.
