The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently announced their new suggested “guideline” that all children must get the COVID shots to attend government schools. While the CDC will assert it’s not setting policy, just merely making recommendations, we all saw how local school boards defended their decisions about masking and shots based on CDC guidelines, which adversely affected school children. This is how the federal government uses its powerful influence and our tax dollars to drive local compliance with education policy centrally dictated from Washington.
Responsible parents follow the rules. We teach our children to follow the rules. We trust that rules are established carefully, with thorough consideration by experts who know what they are talking about. So, parents comply. They put their children in approved car seats. They work to balance their diet with healthy foods. They give them their daily vitamins. They get the children’s eyes and hearing checked. They take them to the pediatrician. They permit their children to get recommended shots. They enroll their children in government schools. They make their children wear face masks.
Then incredibly bad things start to happen. Children are suffering emotional issues and begin acting out. They develop deadly peanut allergies. Perfectly healthy two-year-olds develop autism. Perfectly healthy children develop fatigue, headaches, and unexplained joint pain. Some children develop seizures, appendicitis, allergic reactions, and abnormal renal function.
Parents are devastated. Why are these things happening? They begin to question the rules and the “experts.” Reaction by the experts is to dismiss the parents’ concerns as unfounded, unrelated to the rules or just a small number of events in the big picture. Experts insist the guidelines are for the benefit of the community, of society as a whole.
But the parents and their children’s lives are impacted forever. Normal life will never return.
Parents are finally waking to the insidious nature of today’s education policies. To illustrate the moral degradation of centralized policy making in education, a few weeks ago the CDC allocated $85 million for grants requiring schools to start student-led groups supporting LGBT youth. When the federal government is pushing this agenda incentivized with federal funding, is it any surprise that we now have a gender confusion epidemic in our country? And laws to permit children to have permanent, life-altering, body maiming, sterilizing sex change procedures without parental consent are popping up around the country. All because the agenda of the powerful funders in Washington. If a policy about sexual orientation has such a dramatic effect on America’s children, just imagine the effects of a COVID shots mandate.
Evidence is starting to leak out. The COVID shots were never tested for their efficacy in children, never tested for limiting transmissibility. Negative effects from these shots are happening all across the country. Masking in schools negatively impacted children, both academically and emotionally — plus, masks are not actually effective in preventing the spread of viruses. Moreover, children were never at significant risk from COVID.
Parents need to step up to protect their children — take their children out of governments schools and find a good private school or homeschool. They need to stop following the rules blindly. Do their own research. Make their own judgements. Teach their children that “experts” can be wrong. Teach their children bureaucracies can be bullies. Teach their children that American citizens run our country, just like the Constitution says, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed…” Do not consent.
U.S. Parents Involved in Education seeks to return control to parents and local communities. Federal bureaucrats should not determine policy for local schools. The federal government has no legitimate role in the education of children. Even the involvement of state government should be limited. In this case, state governments should overrule the CDC guidelines and make it illegal for shots to be required to attend government schools. Mandatory medical treatments of any sort — including masking — should be illegal. Control of the care of children must be returned to parents.
