Another sleepless night. Why do things like health care, poverty, debt, gun control, welfare, education, religion, and class warfare keep fighting for brain space night after night? Sleep has become hard to find. These thoughts play on and on like a drumbeat that will not cease. It seems like the morning will never come.
And then the light bulb of recognition turns on. These are themes that are becoming more and more prevalent in the headlines each day. However, it is often hard to hear them through all the political hatred thrown at Donald Trump.
Trump is a man, regardless of your personal feelings about him, who is being vilified, dishonored, shamed, assailed, besieged, and attacked more than any former President of the United States.
Some of the discontent with him in Washington, DC, is because he is not a member of the “club.” The long-time politicians that run this country don’t like outsiders. They don’t know how to deal with them. As a non-politician and businessman, Trump is the ultimate outsider.
Years ago, the Democrats learned they could defeat a strong candidate through hate rather than issues. That modus operandi has slowly been revealed in their campaign tactics at all levels. If the opponent cannot be defeated with the issues, destroy them personally.
Donald Trump is the supreme example of using hatred to win, primarily when the opposing candidate represents beliefs far too radical for most Americans and spends the election cycle in his basement. Raise the hatred level so high that reasonable members of the Democrat Party become blind to the radical issues their party is pushing. Hating Trump is the Kool-Aid that renders them sightless of the true agenda being pushed by their party. Why else did the hatred drumbeat against him start long before he raised his hand to be sworn into office?

That should be evident to every Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, Green, Constitution, or member of the other 209 political parties considered ballot-qualified to vote for members of the US Congress in this country that is not in some mental coma. Trump hate fills the news 24/7.
Perhaps that is why many Americans have not noticed the slow, bit-by-bit change in health care, poverty, debt, gun control, welfare, education, religion, and class warfare. The mask didn’t come off until a lifelong politician who never held a real job or came from a family of great wealth turned his political career into a net worth of $9 million and became President of the United States.
The news this man is making reveals why those eight themes keep playing over and over. It harkens back to the words of a fella by the name of Barack Obama.
He too, who never held a legitimate job before politics, today has an estimated net worth north of $70 million.
A quote attributed to former President Harry Truman, a Democrat from Missouri, says it all, “You can’t get rich in politics unless you are a crook.”
Former President Obama’s famous promise to “fundamentally change the United States of America” is starting to ring true.
Mr. Obama was tutored under Saul Alinsky, who coined the phrase “community organizer” and wrote the book “Rules for Radicals.” Written in 1971, the book is known as the playbook of subversive tactics designed to take society from capitalism to socialism.
Although Alinsky laid out twelve rules, eight have become the most popular among his supporters. They are:
1) Healthcare — Control healthcare, and you control the people
2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you provide everything for them to live.
3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you can increase taxes, which will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way, you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).
6) Education — Take control of what people read and listen to and what children learn in school.
7) Religion — Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent, and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.
If you have paid attention to any of this, it might explain those thoughts that will not go away. Turning off the so-called news on TV doesn’t seem to help. Sleepless nights are becoming more frequent. It seems they will not go away.
The foundation of this country, laid by our forefathers, is becoming very weak. The stones are turning into sand.
What is the solution? How do we fix it for our children and grandchildren? The answer is in your hands. Do something to bring about change for the good.
History is our best teacher. We cannot turn back the clock. However, we must learn from our history, both the good and the bad. Then take these lessons forward to build a better future.
