The truth shall set you free has more meaning for the election of 2012 than at any time in America’s history. Due to a blatantly biased media committing both sins, the acts of commission and omission, your neighbor and coworker are being intentionally misled.
They are voters too, with the likelihood of making bad decisions due to bad information. The real debate therefore must be with them if America is to be preserved as founded. The future of America is in jeopardy unless you engage.
What does your neighbor believe? Ask them.
On foreign policy do they believe the Benghazi attack was due to protestors reacting to a video insulting Islam? The truth was shared at a congressional hearing this week, it was a planned attack by terrorists against a defenseless American consulate that was denied additional security by the State Department. There was no protest in Benghazi. The Obama administration lied to cover up their failed policy.
Who do they believe is ahead in the polls? Share with them that media polls ask leading questions to arrive at a desired outcome, over-sample Democrats, under-sample independents, and over state Democratic enthusiasm to influence their vote. The media are lying.
Does your neighbor believe the debates are fair? Being moderated by self admitted liberals in the presidential debates, and by a personal acquaintance of President Obama whose ex-husband is head of the FCC moderated the Vice Presidential debate. Is that fair?
Does your neighbor believe the economy is recovering? After all Obama claims housing and manufacturing are leading the way. Do they know existing home sales remain at recession levels and new home construction remains mired in a depression?
Does your coworker know that manufacturing is contracting in every region with 16,000 factory jobs lost last month and 22,000 the month before? The president is misleading you and the media reports the claims as truth without challenge.

Does your neighbor believe more jobs are being created because Obama proudly states the unemployment rate has declined from a high of 10% to the lowest of his presidency at 7.8%? Remind your neighbors that Obama promised unemployment would not exceed 8% if his Stimulus Bill was passed. That it is Obama who is president and it is his policies that kept unemployment over 8% for 43 straight months.
How do you respond if your coworker says the economy is growing? Do they know the GDP has shrunk from 2%, to 1.3%, to barley over 1% today? Share that it takes a 3% to 4% GDP growth rate to allow enough job creation that will put back to work the 23 million un/underemployed Americans.
What if your neighbor continues to claim the economy is getting better? Share with them the number of people in poverty, on welfare, on disability, and on food stamps are at historically high numbers.
By sharing the truth there is hope that your neighbors and friends will have their minds opened to the danger facing America.
We all have a choice to make; remain silent and allow our neighbors and coworkers to make their vote based upon false information, or engage and educate them and at least have a chance they will make the right decision based on the truth.
America’s future is at stake, and can be a bright future again if enough American Patriots engage. If more sit silently on the sidelines than engage, then America as founded is lost. It will be up to you what future you leave the next generation.
The challenge is gargantuan. We must overcome a dishonest administration, president, and media collaborating to advance the fundamental transformation of America into something that is not American.
In 1838, Abraham Lincoln delivered an address before the Young Men’s Lyceum of Springfield Illinois. He declared, “At what point…is the approach of danger to be expected. I answer, If it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. The American people have overcome grave challenges throughout its history. Is this generation up to this mortal challenge? We will learn on November the 6, 2012.
