Tens of millions of voters believe former President Donald J. Trump literally took a bullet for every American who believes in: commonsense, the rule of law, sovereign and protected borders, de-escalating the Biden-Harris push towards WWIII, standing up for our police and military, energy independence; smaller government; safe cities; the rights of the victims over criminals; and putting the United States first for a change.
Voters who believe that if Trump is not reelected, the United States they once knew will be swept by the left into the dustbin of totalitarian conquests.
Ever since then-businessman Trump first rode down the escalator at Trump Tower in June of 2015 to announce that he was running for president, countless liberals, Democrats, academics, and entrenched-elite Republican “Never-Trumpers” have lost their collective mind. Their mental and emotional health is crushed by their twisted hate of a man trying to save our nation from…them.
Whenever I encounter one of these enraged, usually self-titled “intellectuals,” I ask them two basic questions. The first is: What about President Trump angers you so much?
Upon asking, I regularly back up a couple of feet in preparation for the hate-induced spittle, which proceeds to the screaming, swearing, and crying. With the speed of a verbal machine gun, they yell out the usual reasons and insults: “He’s a misogynist; a bully; a liar; a dictator; a white supremacist; and a Nazi.” There are of course, more, but after nine years of these exceedingly loud – and sometimes dangerous -- mental meltdowns, we get the idea.
Once they calm down, I ask them the second question. That being said, which actual policies of former President Trump do you most object to or believe failed the nation while he was in office?
Cue the crickets, blank stares, and spit bubbles. You know, the same kind of reaction you would get from Kamala Harris upon asking her why she didn’t protect our border as she let thousands of terrorists into our nation, why she wants to defund the police, or why she believes there should be no bail for violent criminals.
Many from the liberal and Republican “Intelligentsia” class openly mocked, smeared, and laughed at then Candidate Trump back in 2015 and 2016 as they “guaranteed” he would first never get the Republican nomination, and then when he did, “guaranteed” that he would lose against Hillary Clinton. For years now, Trump has proceeded to expose these faux intellectual snobs as frauds who had no clue what they were talking about. More than that, he proved them irrelevant.
And they hate him most for that “crime.” They can’t stand being proven irrelevant.
For that reason and more, they will never forgive Trump nor give him the credit he deserves. Unfortunately for them, they also know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump does have the ultimate “Ace up his sleeve.” That is, our nation—and indeed, the world—was dramatically better and safer under his administration than it is now.
The “Trump haters” refuse to answer my second question regarding his policies because they know the truth. A truth they want to be hidden from the American people at any cost. The truth is that the Trump administration was a massive success as it piled up win after win after win.
Such as Middle-Class family income increased by nearly $6,000 – more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration; the unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century; Jobless claims hit a nearly 50-year low; Unemployment for women hit its lowest rate in nearly 70 years; Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a high school diploma all reached record lows; and the bottom 50 percent of American households saw a 40 percent increase in net worth.
More than that, the Trump administration made America “energy independent.” For the first time in nearly 70 years, the United States became a net energy exporter and was the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world, with natural gas production reaching a record high.
Because of that, the average American family saved $2,500 a year in lower electric bills and lower prices at the gas pump. Remember those days? Is it any wonder that Kamala Harris and the “Trump Haters” don’t want to answer my second question or discuss any of his policies?
With regard to securing the border that Kamala Harris has allowed to be opened like a spigot for millions of illegal immigrants – and again, thousands of terrorists -- to flow through, the “Trump-Haters” don’t want you to recall that he deployed nearly 5,000 troops to the Southern border while ending the dangerous practice of Catch-and-Release, which meant that instead of aliens getting released into the United States pending future hearings never to be seen again, they were detained pending removal, and then ultimately returned to their home countries.
And while he was succeeding at that, President Trump also rebuilt our military, crushed ISIS, defended Israel – which Kamala Harris just insulted -- while recognizing Jerusalem as its true capital, and forced NATO to cough up over $400 billion instead of continually trying to rip-off the U.S. taxpayers for its own protection.
There are literally hundreds of more accomplishments and outright “wins” from the Trump presidency that could be listed. Sadly—and quite dangerously—like Kamala Harris, the “Trump Haters” would seemingly rather see our nation fail than acknowledge any of that past success or the security a new Trump administration could provide.
Remember, as Kamala Harris oversaw the invasion of our nation, disrespected our police, coddled violent criminals and murderous anarchists, insulted our allies, and emboldened our enemies, former President Trump took a literal bullet to make America great again.
Come November 5th, this is not about a choice between two candidates. It is about the survival of our nation.
