I forced myself to watch the State of the Union Address, mostly for work but also out of morbid curiosity. Joe Biden’s drugged-out “doll eyes” were back – black and vacant, they seem to appear whenever he has an important speech to deliver well past his bedtime. The lies were there too – Republicans want to end Social Security, inflation is down, etc. But no lie was as pronounced or as damaging as the lie he told about race.
Democrats love racism, they invented the concept. The party of slavery went on to create the KKK, segregation and Jim Crow laws once they lost the Civil War. What they used to push for in the name of white supremacy they now push for under the banner of tolerance – total segregation, fear and hatred based on race. Same goal, different tactic.
Democrats need to keep people divided, lest they realize how much they have in common and who much of the same problems they share are caused, not solved, by government. Race and sexual orientation are the easiest of the dividing lines the left uses because they are pronounced. They are irrelevant to who anyone is as a person, but the left doesn’t give a single damn about individuals (at least those not directly related to them or paying them), so they are made into everything.
That brings us to Biden’s State of the Union speech. What a waste of time from a waste of space.
In a sea of literal BS, one pile struck me more than the other: the part about “the talk.”
Leftists love the idea that black parents live in fear of their kids ever having any interactions with police because police officers live to beat the hell out of them, or even kill them, for sport. Talk about a “big lie.”
There are some parents who live in fear of that, just like there are some kids who think the boogeyman will come and get them if they don’t behave. Statistics prove this lie is a lie – more white people are killed every year by police than any other race, armed or unarmed. It’s just that the leftist media doesn’t care when a white person is killed by police, or really a Hispanic person, for that matter. The money in terms of ratings and political mileage lies in a black victim, period. That’s all they pay attention to; facts and reality be damned.

In his speech, Biden said, “Imagine having to worry whether your son or daughter came home from walking down the street, playing in the park or just driving a car. Most of us in here have never had to have the talk, the talk, that Brown and Black parents have had to have with their children. Beau, Hunter, Ashley, my children — I never had to have the talk with them. I never had to tell them if a police officer pulls you over, turn your interior lights on right away. Don’t reach for your license. Keep your hands on the steering wheel. Imagine having to worry like that every single time your kid got in a car.”
I had to laugh because the concept was just so damn stupid. Everyone I knew growing up had their parents have the talk with them, and I grew up in a while, blue collar area next to Detroit. My dad said almost those very words about the dome light and your hands, because police are never as nervous and vulnerable as they are during a traffic stop, especially at night. And you really can’t blame them, what’s where they’re likely to get shot. (My dad also made me change a tire before I was allowed to drive by myself, another good idea.)
That Joe didn’t tell his kids that is not a testament to “how racist our country is,” but to how spoiled he and his family were. He was a Senator from a small state, Biden isn’t a common name. Someone gets pulled over with that last name it’s probably the Senator’s kid. More than that, if a cop runs the plates before pulling anyone over and the name “Biden” pops up on the registration, the pull-over likely isn’t going to happen.
I’ll never believe Joe was a good father, or that Hunter suddenly decided to become a degenerate in his 40s. There’s no way there were not multiple run-ins with police when he was younger; probably with all the Biden kids. And I’ll never believe the sentence “Don’t you know who my father is?” didn’t pass their lips as frequently as you’d guess it would from a crack addict or someone who reportedly wrote about being forced to shower with her father long past the age where it could be considered appropriate.
Every Biden with the exception of one, the little girl Hunter had with the stripper he, Joe and Jill refuse to acknowledge (but is a real Biden), comes off as someone who uses their name to make money, so why wouldn’t they use it as a shield to protect them from legal consequences for their other unsavory actions too? Hell, I’d bet a disturbing number of Members of Congress and elected politicians do.
Normal people of every color SHOULD have “the talk” with their kids. Pretty much every person you’ve seen on film die at the hands of police were resisting arrest for some reason or another, and they’d likely be alive if they hadn’t, no matter what skin color they have. The reality of that doesn’t help Democrats, but then reality in any form doesn’t help Democrats. But it could help your kid, because there’s nothing as stupid as a young man. Having been one, and having been wildly stupid when I was, I can attest to that fact. I can also attest to the fact that doing what my father told me during “the talk” not only saved me from a few, not all (I got pulled over for driving junk cars in nice neighborhoods where girlfriends lived a lot), tickets, but from what could’ve easily turned into arrests or worse.
