The FBI Could Have Just Knocked

The raid of Donald Trump’s home in Florida was a shock in that it’s not often your enemies expose themselves as exactly what you always knew them to be. “No one is above the law” leftists cried, while continuing to talk about how “the walls are closing in” on the former president. Those walls have to be a continent apart because they’ve been “closing in” for six years and aren’t anywhere close to catching anyone. There is, however, one bit of truth no one in the Democrat establishment seems to have noticed or care about: the FBI could have simply knocked.

Democrats run around the country and cable news screaming about whatever it is any Republican is doing or saying is a “threat to democracy!” Meanwhile, the true threat to democracy is a political party that denounces everything and every institution as a “threat to democracy” only when they don’t control it.

That’s exactly what Democrats do. Fox News? Threat to democracy. The Supreme Court? Threat to democracy. Parents at school board meetings not wanting their kids indoctrinated and groomed? Obvious threat to democracy and terrorism. Declaring the 2020 election to be suspicious? You might as well set the Constitution on fire. The 2016 election? The 2018 election in Georgia? Hell, the 2000 or 2004 elections? Not a problem, but 2020 is a threat!

To call Democrats raging hypocrites is to do a disservice to parents with a lit Marlboro hanging out of their mouths lecturing their kids about how they aren’t allowed to smoke, a Kennedy telling people not to drink or AOC encouraging people to learn critical thinking skills.

Still, in all honesty, the FBI could have just knocked.

The Biden administration wanted to send a message, a message that no one is above their abuse. With 87,000 new IRS agents in the future, people need to learn their place, shut their mouths and obey. They’re Hitlerific!

When the Chief of Staff to the President can claim “Jobs up and inflation down. Wages up and gas prices down” without concern of being called out, something is irrevocably out of whack. Fewer people than ever have jobs, the jobs created are part time jobs taken as second jobs so people can afford Biden’s inflation. Inflation was up 8.5% last month, which is .6% lower than the month before but about 6 percentage points higher than when Joe took office. Real wages are down, unless you got a 10% raise. And gas prices are down if you look at them from their peak, not any other way.

Biden’s policies increased gas prices 150%. That they’ve come down some because demand was down thanks to the high prices, but they’re still double what they were when his policies were put in place, is not a victory. It’s like never being punched, then being punched every day for a month, then only punched 25 of days in the following month. Is the slight decrease in being punched a victory? Would you hug your puncher out of gratitude?

Seriously, though, the FBI could have just knocked.

When the handlers of the President of the United States are so confident there will be no blowback, you can send this shell of a man out to cameras to tell the world there is “zero inflation.” Who’s gonna call him out for it, the press people who love him or the press people who simply love his agenda? Or Peter Doocy? OK, Doocy might. But if his questions fall in the woods, do they really make a sound, or something?

None of this changes the fact that the FBI could have just knocked.

I’m avoiding the topic at hand because there are only about 100 words needed, if that many, to make the point that the Biden administration abused its power deliberately in an attempt to harm and humiliate the former President.

If what we’re told is true and this raid was over some documents, the FBI knew what those documents were and where they were stored. They could have just knocked and asked for them. They could have actually just asked for them and the Trump team probably would’ve delivered them. But who does that put on notice? Who does that threaten or intimidate? How does that energize Democrats for November?

Yes, the FBI could have just knocked but the Biden administration and progressives in general wanted the headlines, they need the headlines. The January 6th Committee has come up empty, as has everything they’ve tried has failed. All they have left is the show and the spin. The raid gave them both, at least until people had time to think about it. That’s why the FBI was ordered not to knock.
