I’ve said it many times before, but nearly every week some leftist makes me say it again: when it comes to stupid or crazy, there is no “bottom” for the left to hit. Honestly, they keep getting crazier in all the old ways while finding new and creatives ways to bring insanity to the world. The sad thing is, while we all laugh at each of these new insanities, eventually they become some semblance of normal. Ultimately, the joke is on us.
The latest example is something called “birthing persons,” or “black birthing persons” if you’re one of the racist Democrats who make everything about skin color in the name of “equity.” At a hearing last week, racist Representative Cori Bush used the phrase in her opening statement. The video went viral immediately because it was so damn stupid.
Bush is exponentially more likely to be mistaken for a houseplant than a rocket scientist, so when she replaced the word “mother” with “birthing person” (it was “black birthing person,” to get exact, because she’s race obsessed), it was funny. Then about a half dozen other Democrats, both elected Members of Congress and witnesses, did the exact same thing. It was enough to wonder what the hell was going on?
The answer was pretty simple, and we’ve seen it before – Democrats were hijacking the language again.
The term “mother” may have been good enough for the entirety of human history, but it would no longer do. With gender now being something people can simply make up on the fly, and the liberal establishment on board with this insanity, the words have to be changed. Control the language, control everything. And the left seeks to control everything.
But you can’t simply rewrite the dictionary in one fell swoop, people wouldn’t stand for it. You have to do it one word at a time.
Last year, during the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, another dim-witted Democrat redefined a word in real time. Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono, the very definition of a stupid person, read from a script declaring the word “preference” offensive in regards to sexuality – as in sexual preference. Within a day, dictionary.com had added its new “offensive” connotation to the word’s definition.

Even though everyone had used the term up to that point, Democrats stopped immediately. Republicans appear to have followed. Have you heard it lately?
This isn’t the only example. Think of the term “illegal alien.” The Biden administration may have banned this legal term from official government use, but liberals have been fighting its use for years. “Undocumented immigrant” was acceptable for a while, but that still had a whiff of otherism. There are documented immigrants and undocumented immigrants. Democrats wanted to ultimately blur the line between the two. Now they have, with a new word: migrant.
The word migrant isn’t new, it used to mean “a person who moves regularly in order to find work especially in harvesting crops.” Now Democrats use it to refer to both legal and illegal aliens. Like there’s no difference between a legal migrant worker coming to the United States for the harvest the returning home and some illegal alien crossing the border to stay, with no intention of ever leaving.
I bring this up not to rehash the immigration battle, but to point out how successful Democrats are at this. Watch a Fox News story on the border crisis and you’ll hear the crush of illegal aliens referred to as migrants, not illegals. Many elected Republicans do the exact same thing. The rewriting of the language on that one is complete.
So you can laugh all you want at “birthing persons,” the left simply doesn’t care. They will push and push the idea that “men can have babies too” until it becomes so common that “mother” goes away.
After mother is gone, father has to go. I don’t know what it’ll be, “inseminating person” doesn’t really have a great ring to it. Then again, neither does “birthing person,” that didn’t stop them. “Kids” is generic already, but they’ll come for that too, because why not? When you’re on a roll it’s hard to stop.
So, yesterday may well have been one of the last “Mother’s Days” we have, if these people aren’t stopped. Laughing at them isn’t going to stop anything anymore, because the ultimate joke is on us.
