If you’re a progressive, this column isn’t for you. If you’ve already voted, you can skip it. If you’re a conservative or a Republican, grab as many likeminded friends as you can and go vote (shuttle them to the polls if you can). If you’re undecided, indifferent, or an old school Democrat, it’s you I’d like to address.
This is not a time to sit on the sidelines. The line I used to hear a lot from people in your position was, “There isn’t any difference between the candidates.” Sometimes, this is true. This time, however, it couldn’t be further from reality.
If you’ve voted Democrat in the past, I get it. There was a time when the differences between the parties weren’t that great. They both, it could have been argued, loved the country and wanted what was best for it and the public, they simply had different ways of going about getting there. Now, that is not the case.
The Democratic Party of today is not the party you remember. You likely haven’t noticed because you’re busy, you don’t follow the news every day because you’re busy living your life, or as much of it as your governor will allow you to. You’re worried about your job, being able to pay your bills and feed your family. Completely understandable.
So let me draw your attention to a couple of things that anyone who grew up with a family member hanging a framed picture of JFK on their wall might not have had time to notice.

First, let me say that I’m not going to tell you that Joe Biden is corrupt. He is – you don’t walk into tens of millions of dollars in your 70s, after 50 years in “public service” without something shady going on. But that’s not the point of this column. This is about what Democrats literally want to do, to impose, to make the law of the land of this country.
The “party of science,” as they love to call themselves, insist we “listen to the scientists” on every issue tangentially related to any science, but only the scientists they get to pick. I’m not talking about climate change, though it is a great example. I’m talking about biology.
For all of human history there have been two genders. Our species needs there to be two genders. Without it, none of us would exist. Now there are unlimited genders. Honestly, you can simply declare yourself to be whatever you want to make up on the spot, as a joke, and it becomes true to Democrats.
Let me say this: I don’t care how anyone lives their life. I don’t care who anyone sleeps with. As long as what someone does it legal and who they do it with is of age, knock yourself out. If you want to pretend you’re a unicorn-sexual, good for you. If you’re a man who insists you’re a woman, I really don’t care. I’m not judging anyone from a moralistic perspective, everyone has to answer for their own life. If people want to live in an alternate universe, have fun.
My problem comes in when others, be it the liberal mob or the government, seeks to force me to live in that alternate universe with them.
If you have a penis, you’re a man. If you have a vagina, you’re a woman. That’s science. Well, it used to be.
Thanks to Democrats, gender is whatever; it’s a mystery. “Men can get pregnant and need abortions” and “women can get prostate cancer.” These are just a few of the things Democrats insist are true now. And they’d like to punish people who refuse to conform.
Do you want your daughters showering with boys after gym class simply because they’ve said they’re really women? Having been a teenage boy once, I can assure you there will be boys who will take advantage of this “tolerance.” Once one does somewhere, there will be a flood.
I don’t mean to attack people who are confused and think they’re something they’re not, I have empathy for them. But that empathy does not overrule reality. Everyone else does not have to adjust our lives to accommodate someone else’s delusions.
Democrats will make you.
Democrats have introduced legislation forcing schools to conform, to treat boys as girls and vice versa. Boys can compete for limited spots on girls’ sports teams, etc. It’s legislating a new reality. It’s insanity.
This is just one example of the “New Democratic Party” and their pursuit of conformity. Disagreement is met with charges of bigotry, of “transphobia.” But it’s not transphobic, it’s normal. At least until Democrats gain power.
Which is why I urge you to vote not only for Donald Trump, but for Republicans up and down the ballot.
