It’s frustrating to watch conservatives try to “make nice” with liberals when, on the rare occasion, their opinions cross paths. Yes, sometimes there are things so universally stupid or outrageous that everyone can agree it is awful (take the movie Holmes and Watson, for example, or the hatred for the New England Patriots). But far too often conservatives think this moment of comity means that deep-down we can get along with the progressive left. We can’t. Activist leftists will stab you in the back, front, or side any and every chance they get, and you’d be smart to never forget that.
There are reminders everywhere and constantly. Many conservatives have found themselves thinking they’ve cracked the code of acceptance and entered the liberal club as a full member in good standing, only to be tossed out on their rears at the first opportunity. Some people didn’t even get their first opportunity.
Remember Kevin Williamson? The National Review columnist hired by The Atlantic as their nod to bipartisanship, and a couple of days later he was fired. His sin? Not being a down-the-line liberal.
Williamson didn’t have time to unpack his office supplies before the brown-shirted liberal mob crawled through the colon of his life to find any and everything not “woke” enough to pass the progressive purity test. Management caved immediately and the mob subsided.
This standard is never applied to leftists. Remember the name Sarah Jeong? She’s the racist member of the New York Times editorial board who was outed as a bigot upon her hiring. Unlike The Atlantic, the Times didn’t care. Jeong is a committed leftist and her racism was directed against white people, which is fast becoming a requirement to be a liberal in good standing. Williamson is pro-life, which isn’t allowed.
No matter how much they may respect you, or even hire you, they will be looking to destroy you.

Sarah Flores is a friend, an incredibly smart woman who has worked in Republican politics for years. Most recently the spokeswoman for then Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Sarah was hired by CNN this week to serve as political editor focusing on the 2020 campaign. Since Sarah is a conservative, the mob started to gather. Leftists don’t like it when someone who they deem impure enters their domain, be it a minority joining their country club or a conservative entering the media.
A blogger at Vox who likes to call himself a journalist started digging through Sarah’s past in the hope of Williamson-ing her. It was disgusting and full of lies, but not surprising in the least. For all their talk about wanting to see women succeed and hold positions of authority, they only mean it for liberal women. Ask Condi Rice how open and tolerant leftists are of free thinkers.
Tommy “Dude, that was like 2 years ago” Vietor is also afraid of strong women, tweeting, “Why on earth would you hire a right-wing hack to oversee political coverage in 2020?”
The Huffington Post’s Elise Foley was equally outraged, asking, “Wonder how CNN’s coverage of immigration and race issues will be affected by JEFF SESSIONS’ FORMER SPOKESWOMAN coordinating their 2020 coverage.”
They’re all vile people attempting to get a woman fired from her new job because she’s not one of them. The Nazi Nuremburg purity laws were more inclusive than progressives are at guarding their media domain.
Someone named Max Tani, who the Daily Beast allows to call himself a journalist, wrote an entire story on how “CNN staffers” were “demoralized” by the hiring. The sources were allegedly two anonymous people who work at CNN (maybe Jim Acosta and Don Lemon?) and that’s it. Somehow this was worthy of a story, yet the dozens of Democrat operatives who go into government and out again barely rates a mention from these piles of human garbage. Weird.
How bad was the story? Tani cited a blogger for liberal Gestapo website Media Matters as “a reporter for left-leaning media watchdog.” (I’m not going to link to it because screw them.)
These people really are the modern KKK enforcing their own version of the one-drop rule on anyone not them who dares enter the world of journalism.
But it’s not just conservatives they’re out to destroy. They want blood and will destroy anyone not sufficiently woke, even one of their own.
Nancy Rommelmann was a liberal in good standing living in Oregon until she expressed an opinion that deviated from the progressive gospel. For that, her life has been turned upside-down.
Rommelmann started a podcast “with another journalist in which we discussed the excesses of the #MeToo movement.” A former employee of her husband’s company was so angered she emailed her former co-workers and the media, because the former employee was more-woke (and a horrible person).
Then came the rage, the threats, and the damage to the business. All she did was ask questions.
If progressives are willing to destroy one of their own for the sake of purity, what won’t they do? There are Scientologists more open to the prospect that L. Ron Hubbard was just making it all up than there are liberals willing to allow people who aren’t them to exist in peace.
The media is their domain, conservatives who enter it need to keep that in mind. They may be nice to you, may even joke with you during commercial breaks or in editorial meetings. But they will destroy you at their first opportunity.
Liberal activists are not your friends and they never will be. It’s time to realize that and act accordingly by returning the favor.
