Biography
Chris Sprowls is the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. A former prosecutor, Speaker Sprowls is an unwavering conservative and a champion for families with a robust agenda that has included the first statewide delivery of free books for struggling young readers and the largest expansion of school choice in Florida history. He is also currently leading the charge to end the practice of abortion after 15 weeks, expanding pro-life measures for babies after birth to improve infant mortality rates, and is addressing the chronic problem of fatherlessness that results in at-risk youths. Speaker Sprowls is an active member of the All Pro Dads organization. He and his wife, Shannon, live in Palm Harbor, FL with their two boys, Prescott and Conrad.
