Following the bombing of the Iran nuclear sites, you knew the press would come out with all manner of complaints. But…being THIS petty?! Even this is a bit of a surprise.
Okay, maybe not so shocking once we consider it involves Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth — who the press absolutely loathes — but even still…
Hegseth gave an early presser after the bombing and he praised the job executed by “our boys.” The Times’ John Ismay noted that there are also females flying missions, one of which was involved in the Iran strikes.

So, the Secretary of Defense misgendered a bomber pilot, so we can consider this mission a failure.

We enjoy making fun of recovering conservative David Frum because the lad is just in a state of perpetual turmoil, usually with himself. He had a tough weekend with the Iran attack, and it was entirely a result of his own doing.
On Saturday, Frum promised Trump would never bomb Iran because he always chickens out of his bold claims, and Iran knew this. It was published just hours before the bombing.
He then struggled with trying to save face, suggesting that it was ultimately a good idea, but — since it was Trump’s doing — he had to also state it was a bad idea.
Just some masterwork from the dependably wrong @davidfrum.

This is going to come as the opposite of a shock – the straight-forward, unbiased, down-the-middle news outlet NPR found some experts — all two of them — who declare that Trump’s bombing mission was not successful because of some missed locations and also because the enriched uranium in Fordow was not there.
How are they sure that the enrichment was not hit? Well… it is more of a “take our word for it” level of analysis, as they assume things are missed:
"Today, it still has that material and we still don’t know where it is. I think you have to assume that significant amounts of this enriched uranium still exist, so this is not over by any means," agrees David Albright, the president of the Institute for Science and International Security, which has closely tracked Iran's nuclear program for years.
Uh…saying you “assume” it was missed because you do not know where it is appears like the opposite of expertise.

Imagine if their protest reached into the double-digits!
At Florida A&M University, there was a protest over Governor Ron DeSantis nominating the next university president and for DEI policies. This might have warranted an entry on that detail alone, given John Dickerson made a grave point as he was giving voice to this reaction even though this is an all-black university. (Are they really demanding that more whites be admitted to the HBU?!)
But what makes this so hilarious is that the field reporter described the protest with a touch of exaggeration:
The board of governors approved the controversial nominee, Marva Johnson, to be president of Florida A&M University. But there's been a groundswell of students and alumni of the historically black college opposed to her selection.
And what constituted this use of “groundswell”? Ten people. That was what reporter Manuel Bojorquez described, even though their camera only managed to capture seven folks in attendance.
Question: How large does a protest have to be for the liberal media to consider it a “groundswell”?
