When one lists the myriad problems facing the United States, almost all of them are products of Democratic policies at the local, state and national level. If people want a safer, more successful, and more united America, then the first step is to stop voting for members of the Democratic Party.

I grew up in a home in Cook County that was thoroughly Democratic. My parents were both immigrants from Nazi Germany. They voted for one Republican in their lifetimes—a family friend who was running for judge. My mother often quoted her late father in saying, “Better a dead Democrat than a live Republican”. I remember as a child holding signs for Abner Mikva, who represented the 10th Congressional District of Illinois before Bill Clinton made him a federal judge. I also remember my mother being the Democratic election official at the local polling place. In the one election in which I voted before I left Illinois, I voted for Walter Mondale for president.

With the above in mind, I wish to quote something that Sheldon Adelson wrote in the Wall Street Journal over a decade ago. Many years before me, he grew up in a completely Democratic area of Boston. Everyone supported the Democrats. But as the late casino magnate wrote, he did not leave the Democratic party; it left him. I still remember the attempts at the Democratic national convention to add a plank supporting Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and the boos clearly outweighing they ayes vote after vote. The Democratic party, once the major supporter of Israel, the home of the union working man, the anti-neocon party on foreign affairs, and the great supporter of the poor, has transmogrified into a monster whose policies are destroying America. The Democrats have become the party of the Silicon Valley billionaires, the self-appointed college-trained “elite” and the poor. Working people need not apply. If you want any form of abortion limitations, the Democrats have no place for you, though they have started to backpedal on abortion until birth, as the polls show Americans are against it.

If you don’t want a completely open southern border, don’t vote Democratic. Seven million illegal aliens, often with no vetting and from dozens of countries around the world, have entered the United States since Joe Biden became president. They bring with them poverty, oftentimes crime, illness, no language or marketable skills, and expectations that the US will take care of them. Look at the overrun cities on the border; look at the inability of Chicago and New York to deal with even relatively small numbers of illegal immigrants. In the past, legal immigrants became Americans for the betterment of all; today, America is becoming a third-world country with all of the associated failures and problems.

If you want cheaper energy, don’t vote Democratic. The US still has massive natural gas and oil reserves. Tapping them would lower gas and heating oil prices to reduce inflation and keep more money in American taxpayers’ pockets. The US has the potential to again be the leader of hydrocarbon production and not be reliant on foreign oil. Electric cars do a lot of environmental damage in their production (especially for their batteries) and they rely on electricity, often generated with coal. Wind and sun are unreliable and simply do not work on windless days or at night, respectively. The US has the energy to power a better economic future. Democrats would rather that citizens suffer through high energy prices and spotty energy availability while China and India make ever more coal-fired electricity.

If you want a strong military, don’t vote Democratic. The top leadership at the Pentagon has gone full woke, worrying more about pronouns, “trans soldiers”, and drag performances rather than in getting the fighting forces ready for a potential kinetic interaction with China or another adversary. As Kurt Schlichter has written, a new president needs to clean house with the top brass at all of the services and get leaders who know how to fight and to train soldiers to be ready to do so. There is no greater deterrence than being ready for war and making sure that your adversary knows it.

If you want better and safer cities, don’t vote Democratic. Legacy Democratic cities such as Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Portland and San Francisco see more homelessness, more open drug use, more violent crime, more dirtiness, more boarded-up storefronts and more citizens heading for the exits. Stories of people being pushed onto subway tracks or being stabbed or shot or carjacked abound. If you want strong policing and the end of no bail and reduced charges, then you will have to get rid of your Democratic mayors, DAs, and city council representatives.

If you want your children to have a healthy and normal childhood, don’t vote Democratic. One stands aghast to learn that school districts throughout the country are introducing sexually explicit material into course materials for young children. Throw in drag queens telling youngsters stories or their highly sexualized performances for children in single digit ages as well as active attempts by educators to put young children through puberty blockers and sadistic surgeries, and you must not vote for a Democrat ever again.

There are many more issues that could be listed here. And not every Republican is free of blame. Some have looked the other way on the massive illegal immigration under way that gives businesses cheap labor. Others have supported alternative energy strategies that have left residents without power in both hot and cold conditions. But in the end:

If you want a safer America with less crime, don’t vote Democratic;

If you want a more prosperous America, don’t vote Democratic;

If you want a more united America without endless focus on racial and other needless divisions, don’t vote Democratic;

If you want a stronger military, don’t vote Democratic;

If you want a more confident America with less governmental interference in your life, don’t vote Democratic; and,

If you want a better future for your kids, don’t vote Democratic.

Our future is in our hands as voters. Let’s make that future better. Don’t vote Democratic.
