Hot Air's Mary Katharine Ham Wins 'Blogger of the Year' Award

Congratulations are in order! Hot Air’s Mary Katharine Ham was named “Blogger of the Year” at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland. In her acceptance speech, Mary Katharine thanked CPAC for the recognition and touted the merits of blogging and new media.

When stepping up to the podium, she said she “was thinking of tripping on stage so she could be charming like Jennifer Lawrence.” Well, she didn’t fall, but she charmed the audience anyway. In January, she made headlines by butting heads with Bill O’Reilly over marijuana legalization. But, there didn’t seem to be much debate over who deserved the prestigious ‘Blogger’ title this year. Last year, the award went to Townhall’s own Katie Pavlich.

Two great choices in a row CPAC!
