Two Years Later, Hillary Clinton Is Still Crashing Into Things

Well, it seems Hillary Clinton still can't avoid crashing into things. As she headed to a fundraiser for Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) in New Jersey, the Scooby mobile crashed. Even after she’s been defeated, the scars of 2016 have not faded. It’s just emblematic of the continuous struggles of one of the worst candidates to ever run for the presidency. The real question is, was former campaign manager Robby Mook the one driving the car?

Bashing the Clintons never gets old. It’s too easy, and the animus the GOP base has for her is unrivaled. Okay—Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi also fire up the base, but Hillary is someone who is just unlikable. Even large swaths of her party can’t stand her. On the Left, she wasn’t liberal enough and therefore, lost.  I don’t know about that; Clinton is still a hardcore liberal.

Clinton called Republicans deplorable, racist, and backward…because we didn’t support her presidential bid. Oh, and GOP voters live in areas that don’t matter or something. She’s a two-time loser. She still blames the FBI, James Comey, Russia, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, and the media for her 2016 failure. In the meantime, the Clinton trainwreck was due to her not reaching out to rural voters and campaigning in the Rust Belt more aggressively, which was something that some Democrats, like Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI), warned the Clinton team about. At the same time, Dingell also couldn’t name a single Hillary accomplishment.

The fact is that 2016 was a winnable election for Clinton. We all know this—and she crashed into the wall. If we’re looking for sports references, think Buffalo Bills kicker Scott Norwood’s failed field goal attempt in Super Bowl XXV that cost them the game; the New York Giants would go on to win their second world championship 20-19. The Bills have yet to win a Super Bowl—and Clinton will never be president of the United States.
