Last Kennedy Calling it Quits
As John mentioned last night, Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy, 42, has been rumored to be planning his retirement at the end of this term. He has made it official today, publicly announcing his retirement in this YouTube video, effectively ending the famed Kennedy political dynasty:

No Democrat has announced a run for Kennedy's seat yet and, until today, Kennedy appeared ready to take on the Republican challenger, state Rep. John Loughlin.
