Apparently when you vote for one, you get the other. John Corzine makes his last-ditch effort to garner votes by campaigning as Obama's "mini-me":

We all remember how Republican candidates across the country were clamoring for support from Bush and Cheney in 06 and 08, right? You do remember that, don't you?

"Good grief, my Father, a NJ Democrat would be rolling in his grave if he knew what has become of his beloved party and State."
They could generate enough power to light West Virginia and WASHDC if they could figure a way to tap into the energy created by the old-line democrats spinning in their graves. WVA was about as totally democrat as a state ever gets. WVA was one of two states that voted for Carter during his second run for president.
(Looks like they might have learned their lesson, finally. They voted republican last three (3) elections -- for president.)
It is so democratic that a neighbor, who knew everybody and was related to a goodly number of folks, ran for county judge three times as a...

Anyone in the long lost real democratic party would be shocked by what they have become. Guys like Obama and Corzine would have been tarred and feathered had they tried to run on these Marxist ideas in those days. Sadly the dems have given way to a bunch of anti American loons who are hellbent on ruining this country that people like your father and mine fought for.

SJA....per your post as referenced above, I agree!
I have always paid strict attention to NJ since a good portion of my family (did: past tense) live in that State. To-date, most moved to PA, VA, et al. However, my brother still resides in NJ, sooo I do keep abreast of the political machinations.
Good grief, my Father, a NJ Democrat would be rolling in his grave if he knew what has become of his beloved party and State. He was a Veteran of two wars and a fierce patriot. I think of him incessantly and continue to grieve/mourn as to my loss (him) and his loss (NJ, and quite possibly, the USA).
If there is an after-life, and I believe there is, I hope my Dad is observing our current dilemma and can, in some...

Even if Corzine pulls this off it will be a good day in NJ. NJ as you say is so blue that a republican rarely even comes close in the polls. Now Corzine is fighting for his political life and Obama has only been President for 10 months. A great deal of support has been lost by the democrats and I expect there will be more lost in the next year. When you see a very democratic state like NJ start to question you know things are going in the right direction. Good news for 2010 and 2012.

Apparently, Corzine and BO are both absolutely confident of the NJ Dem win. I guess they activated Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cemetery Al w/his numerous kindred corpses, and of course, the efficiently, corrupt ACORN cronies along w/the billy-club wielding, poll-watching Black Panthers to help facilitate the win.
OR, if not, they equally took one heck of a chance because...if they lose, THEY BOTH LOSE. This would imply a rejection of Corzine and his incompetent governance, and a huge, embarrassing, denunciation of BO and his socialistic, "tax-ridden" policies. What a devastating message.
Accordingly, a NJ loss will be an unprecedented, demoralizing inference since NJ IS and HAS BEEN as blue as the beautiful sky in...

"Obama & Corzine
The dingbat solution to all your woes."
That caused a good laugh. Thanks.
Now, if I can only find a liberal (or even a democrat) in the neighborhood to lay that on him/her, my day will be complete.

Are all over if you drive through NJ. Yes Obama's name appears first. Corzine is hoping as Speedicut says that the idiots will think as one woman put it that they can get some "Obama money".

Corzine wins?
We know that in VA, the GOP guy will win, but he's not as far right as you'd like, we know that.
