Petty Revenge: House Judiciary Democrat Says Justice Kavanaugh Likely To Be Investigated For Perjury

Oh, they hate him. They hate him. They have to because, on paper, he’s the fifth conservative vote to give the Right a solid judicial majority on the Supreme Court for potentially the next generation. It’s why the Left fought so hard to defeat him, peddling a trash narrative about sexual misconduct that wasn’t grounded in evidence. Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing was a nasty affair. It was one of the most vicious, if not the most brutal, hearings since Clarence Thomas’ nomination under Bush 41. It was a bloodbath over accusations that were unverifiable. The accused listed witnesses. The witnesses couldn’t corroborate. One woman, Julie Swetnick, claimed that Kavanaugh was part of a gang rape ring in high school. Porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, a vicious anti-Trump activist who also represents adult film star Stormy Daniels, represented her. That’s all you need to know. And the story was straight trash.

First, she was a college-aged woman hanging with high school kids, and she saw this alleged debauchery at a party, and she went back to similar parties multiple times and never told anyone. Yeah, okay. Swetnick and Deborah Ramirez, who alleged Kavanaugh exposed himself at a college party, never had their stories printed in The New York Times; the paper couldn’t confirm anything. Another clue that this was a coordinated political hit job—and it was.  Belief is not evidence. We had to wallow in the land of make-believe for two miserable weeks and have a man have his life’s work destroyed because Trump nominated him. Guy had some good posts about the Lefts’s nonsensical antics during this fight. And destroyed over allegations that had virtually had zero evidence to back them up. All I can say is…when the changing of the guard happens, and Democrats nominate someone, Republicans should no zero reservations if they want to wage a slash and burn campaign. It may be sad. It could be someone who is a good person, but this is politics. That person's world must be burned to ash. Hey, we didn't make these rules; the Democrats did.

Yet, before that can happen, and hopefully Trump can nominate another SCOTUS appointment before he leaves office, Kavanaugh will once again come under siege by Democrats lusting for his blood. The House Judiciary Committee, now helmed by dirty Democrats, plans to investigate him for perjury (via Fox News):

A freshman Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee told constituents the panel will “likely” investigate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh for purportedly committing perjury during his confirmation hearings last fall.

In a video sent out by conservative activist group America Rising, Rep. Joe Neguse, D-Colo., was recorded Friday saying he believes the Supreme Court justice committed perjury while under questioning from Congress -- though did not point to a specific statement.

“There’s no question [Kavanaugh] committed perjury during the confirmation hearings and so forth,” Neguse said, responding to a question about the possibility of impeaching Kavanaugh. “I think the Judiciary Committee is likely to take that up.”

Brace yourselves, folks. It’s going to get ugly again.
