Carson Says His Actions Speak Louder Than His Words

As a Washington outsider, Carson is used to being asked how he’d translate his experience as a neurosurgeon to the very different responsibilities required of the president of the United States. With the focus being on terrorism and security issues in Tuesday’s GOP debate, Carson was once again faced with a question about how his medical past has prepared him to be commander in chief.

“I don’t do a lot of talking,” he acknowledged, before following up by saying, “I do a lot of doing.”

“And really it says more about a person than how much they talk,” he continued. “Some people say, ‘you’re weak because you’re not loud, and you’re not boisterous, and you’re not rude,’ but the fact of the matter is look and see what I’ve done.”
