New York's New Nanny-in-Chief Wants to Ban Horses

New York's New Nanny-in-Chief Wants to Ban Horses

If you thought former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg was a big government nanny, you haven't seen anything yet. Bill de Blasio, New York's new far Left mayor was sworn in just after midnight on January 1 and he isn't wasting any time embracing his new position. His first priority? Banning horses in Central Park and replacing them with electric cars. How romantic. Why? De Blasio believes using horses to pull carriages is inhumane?

Yep, you heard that right. De Blasio and his city council are capable of killing off an entire industry that has been around for generations because they simply don't like it and because they can.

The silver lining? The cars will at least look like they're vintage.
