Newt "castigates" CNN? I saw a video of him with Anderson Cooper five minutes after the debate saying that CNN did a great job and that he thought the debate was just great.

Later on FOX, he did his phoney moral outrage bit.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Marianne Gingrich, in fact, she is is the worst kind of hypocrit. In her zeal to go after her ex husband and all his sins, she somehow forgets that SHE at some point in time was the other woman.

Here is a woman who has an affair with a married man, an admitted adulterous, and she has the gall to go on national television and whine about how Newt abandoned her for another woman? What the hell did she think she was getting when she married a man who cheated on his wife? Common sense tells you that if he is gonna cheat on her, he will cheat on you, which he did.

She has no room to talk about Newt's ethics or morals when she at least at some point wasn't very moral in her own behavior.

looking at Newt reminds me of the debate between Obama and McCain - just the visual display of having McCain and Obama side-by-side was enough to tell me that McCain wouldn't win. Same will be for Newt. He may know how to debate but he does not look presidential at all! He comes across to me as an angry person. Every one of the candidates should be castigating the media for becoming administration lapdogs, not watchdogs.

Regardless the candidate, personal hardship should be off-limits if it has no bearing on the performance of duties. Congressmen are caught almost daily selling influence or in conflicts of interest but does it make the front pages? We would hope every Congressman was an Eagle Scout but treating some differently for ideological reasons is unconscionable--but we are talking about the news/entertainment industry, right?
