Here's the thing, Y'all. The Evil Zionist Entity has manipulated all of this against this woman so that it will get western sympathy and outrage and count against the innocent Persian mullahs and Ahkmaspitooey. Axie, Mushy, Ryan, Christian and Taffums ALL told me so.

Ironic that it's the 'oppressive' Catholic Church that is working to save this woman's life.
Yet Obamao, claiming to be Christian, remains silent...

In 2006, Ashtiani was accused of involvement in her husband's slaying. She was acquitted on that charge but sentenced to 10 years in prison because the killing "disturbed the public order." A separate court then charged her with adultery. But on what grounds was she convicted? Ashtiani maintains that she was coerced into confessing. In addition, Iran's penal code permits judges to determine guilt based on their own "knowledge" if there is an absence of evidence. Three of the five judges deciding her case condemned her to death on that basis. Meanwhile, the man convicted of killing her husband is free after paying "blood money" to the dead man's family.

Kind of funny. The left touts its womans right issues yet they are silent. No news on the liberal channels of this or stoning of women until fox brings it to light first.

How would you know, Barry? Do you ever watch mainstream news? If you did, you'd know that liberals and feminists have been fighting these issues for decades. Conservatives were silent, until Muslims became our new all-purpose bogey men to arouse hatred and fund government contracts.

Vlad, you ignorant russian peasant, not ONE liberal has every fought these issues outside of the confines of safe, western, democratic coun tries. Not one liberal or femist spoke against human rights abuses in Soviet Union and communist Central and Eastern Europe. Just like today they do not fight these issues in Islamic world, or Venezuela, or Cuba or North Korea.
Liberals and femists are only "fighting" make-believe abuses and infractions in US or Israel or Germany.

modGuy you cretinous redneck, how would you know? Were you reading feminist books and magazines back in the 70s when they were targeting clitorectomies in Africa? In the 90s when they were pushing for higher wages for Chinese women? Of course not! You only know what the right-wing noise machine tells you. I don't mind that you're completely stupid, but when you start making up stories about things you know nothing about, somebody ought to warm you what an utter fool you look like.

I lived in Iran during the revolution. You cannot even begin to grasp the barbaric nature of the clerics. For example pouring battery acid over a girl for showing her face, dismembering two girls for wearing western clothes, a father strangling his daughter on garbage day to be thrown out with the trash, she wanted to marry an american, disembowling soldiers sent into to quell a riot without ammunition. I could go on for hours citing what I witnessed.
It would make any civilized person sick.

This is most certainly a travesty; although I could warm up to the idea of flogging liberal politicians.

How can any sane person support this regime being trusted with nuclear weapons?
If they want international respect and trust they should begin by showing that they are
evolved enough to handle whips and stones for "peaceful" purposes instead of brutal
punishments and executions.
