One Year of Fracking in CO, Creates More Jobs than Obama’s Entire Economy Has for Millennials

Fracking in the state of Colorado during the year 2012 created 111,000 jobs whereas Barack Obama’s entire economy has only generated 110,000 jobs for Millennials since 2007.

What is wrong with our president? Does he suffer from a migraine headache or is he simply refusing to think straight? His administration is spending up to $1,000 a day caring for illegal immigrant children carrying measles, mumps, scabies, lice, chicken pox, strep throat and tuberculosis. Meanwhile, legal American citizens with law degrees are living with their parents and struggling to find jobs that even pay minimum wage.

Describing the influx of undocumented children on America’s southern border, one nurse told Fox News’ Todd Starnes: “You could see the bugs crawling through their hair” and a psychiatric counselor reported: “The children had more rights than the [American] workers [who were caring for them].”

Certainly, it is heartbreaking to see children suffering. At the same time, our political leaders need to wake up and acknowledge that there are disadvantaged women and children all over the world (think Somali women and children facing gang rape and starvation). Central Americans are not the only individuals who are suffering and we most certainly cannot care for the entire global population when we have millions of American-born adolescents who can’t take care of themselves.

No wonder a majority (53 percent) of Americans now tell Pew Research Center that they want undocumented children to be deported as quickly as possible. Americans are naturally generous and benevolent. Yet American parents and grandparents find it very hard to justify spending thousands of dollars on other people’s children who are here illegally and who carry infectious diseases before caring for their own children and grandchildren.

So, what could we do to get our economy back on track? Frack, baby frack!

Last week, TIME Magazine reported: “Fracking generated $29.5 billion in economic activity in Colorado in 2012, creating 111,000 direct jobs with an average wage of $74,811, according to the Colorado Petroleum Association.” One month earlier, TIME reported: “Since 2007, there’s been a net increase of only 110,000 jobs held by workers between the ages of 22 and 34, making millennial unemployment nearly flat for the past six years.”

Perhaps if the President weren’t so busy fundraising in Colorado and playing pool with Democratic Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, he could see beyond the 8-ball. After Obama beat the governor at pool earlier this month, Hickenlooper told the press that Obama won because: “he’s obviously got a remarkable focus” and that “when he focused, he was really good.”

Great news! Obama is “really good” when he’s focused! The only problem is that Obama appears to be focused on the wrong things. Such as winning pool games. Or lavishing $250 - $1,000 of taxpayer money on each illegal immigrant minor a day, while neglecting to lower taxes or reduce regulations so that legal American children can dig themselves out of poverty, unemployment and homelessness.

In June, 15.2 percent of Millennials were unemployed according to Generation Opportunity. Over a third of Millennials were “homeless” during the Obama years—living at home with their parents or grandparents against their will. Finally, Millennials are struggling under the weight of historic levels of student loan debt and rising healthcare insurance premiums at a time when good jobs are scarce.

Back in the summer of 2010, President Obama and Vice President Biden were declaring it to be “recovery summer.” Well, here we are in the summer of 2014 and the recovery is yet to be seen.

We can recover this economy, but it will take individuals demanding free market solutions. Let’s audit the Federal Reserve. Let’s lower the corporate income tax rate to the lowest, not the highest, in the world. Let’s each opt out of Obamacare as I explain how to do in my new book titled, “Let Me Be Clear.” And, above all, lets frack.
