Ridiculous: Dem Congressman Compares Obamacare to the Constitution

On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski asked Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) if Obamacare was becoming difficult to defend. His response—to compare the implementation of Obamacare to the implementation of the United States Constitution!

Take a look:

Meeks has some imagination if he really believes the document that ensured our freedom from the government is comparable to a bill that is about to limit our choices and make us dependent on the government. And let’s not forget that President Obama has been breaking constitutional law on his path to implementing Obamacare.

Perhaps if the president had modeled his healthcare reform to benefit “we the people” instead of “me, big-government”, it would not be facing possible demolition from both sides of the aisle.
