Transgender Teen Not on Homecoming Court
Andy Moreno at North Dallas High School was born a male but now claims she is a female. She looks and speaks like a woman, and said her identity has been accepted by her classmates.

That wasn't enough to let the principal let her run for homecoming queen. Instead, she was told to run for homecoming king.
Which I don't feel comfortable with because I identify myself as a woman and not as a male, and a king is a male.
That's what she told the local Fox affiliate, after saying that she believes the exclusion from running for queen is discriminatory. The school board has said that they support the principal's decision to keep her off the ballot, and the principal hasn't shown any sign of backing down.
