These are the Democrats that matter. The ones who are still on the fence. There are between six and nine legislators who are undecided or might switch their votes, so if you live in their districts, or know someone who does, now is the time to give their office a call.
Rep. Jason Altmire
(PA)
Rep. Jim
Costa
(CA)
Rep. Brad Ellsworth
(IN)
Rep. Gabby Giffords
(AZ)
Rep. Suzanne Kosmas
(FL)
Rep. Scott Murphy
(NY)
Rep. John Tanner
(TN)
It's more than likely Obamacare will go through at this point. But that doesn't mean you stop fighting.

I have read a good portion of HR 3590. It is framed as a controlling costs and covering more piece of legislation but it is clearly a bill to subordinate the will and rights of the individual States of this magnificent country to the will and auspices of the Executive Branch!
The Department of Health and Human Services is the primary driver and custodian of the bill along with the Department of the Treasury.
This bill shifts the power to the Executive Branch!

The Mullah in chief and his kabala of thugs have decided that the house can use the slaughter rule to 'deem the senate bill passed'. This is a PRETEND vote that passes the exact senate bill WITHOUT AN ACTUAL UP OR DOWN VOTE. Having pretended to pass the senate bill, the president will then sign the senate bill into law.
After the president signs the senate bill he and Pelosi will then make ALL the changes they wanted to the senate bill without subjecting those changes to ANY VOTE. They are calling this 'reconciliation'.
The only problem is - the HOUSE WILL NOT HAVE A RECORD OF AN UP OR DOWN VOTE on the senate bill. The process of having two legislative branches voting up or down and recording the vote BEFORE a president...

Is the Democratic appointee to run for the Bayh's open Senate seat. If he votes for this bill, he essientially signs his own career death warrant. He will be finished. Remember, Bayh who voted for this monstrosity, is not running for relection becuase his poll numbers nose-dived after hs committed his vote.

It's a pitched battle between Obama and Pelosi and the constituents of the Dem undecideds in the House. Those on the fence know a yes vote means unemployment come November.

The plan is to agree to the Senate bill and then it will be law. They will use reconciliation to make the changes that the House is demanding as part of their agreement to vote on the Senate bill as it currently stands.

Rep. Bart Stupak of Michigan, the leader of a dozen anti-abortion Democrats, says his group remains committed to opposing the health care overhaul the House is likely to vote on this weekend.
Stupak said Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America" that he wants to pass health care but "there's a principle we do not want to cross."
He says the anti-abortion Democrats will oppose the current bill unless the language is toughened in restricting federal dollars for abortion.
Stupak said a health care bill that ensures no federal money would go toward abortion would "probably get our vote."

These men and women in congress have forsaken their oath of office to uphold the constitution in order to give the Mullah In Chief a 'legacy'.
The seeds they are sowing will to haunt them. Not just by the loss of their political careers but at a PERSONAL LEVEL.
Those who have lived long enough know that MISUSE OF POWER BY TYRANTS always brings personal grief. They will find out that they can't get away with this kind of thuggery.
AN OATH OF OFFICE MATTERS AND STOPPING UNCONSTITUTIONAL MANDATES IS THEIR JOB.

if reconciliation can only be applied to existing laws, doesn't that mean that until the original senate bill is signed that the house cannot pass reconciliation?
Can't the GOP just stand and object to the house vote because the house is out of order?
I realize they're trying to make up the rules as they go along, but to me, they can't get around that one. What am I missing?
