For those of you who flunked the reading comprehension portion of the SAT's, which is apparently nearly all of you, I did NOT say that *I* am against military recruitment campaigns, Jillian Bandes did. Again, the original quote:

Either that's an extremely poorly thought-out statement, or she is saying she's against advertising that encourages military service.

Suppose you show us the specific Constitutional amendments supporting your claim? The SCOTUS has permitted RvW and DvB to stand not because either decision is good Constitutional law but because abortion is an 'accepted legal practice' that is too much a 'settled' part of American civil life that would be difficult to reverse. Nevermind that overturning both would simply return the issue to the states where it properly belongs.

No one entity has the obligation to advertise for another. PP has the right to advertise just s much as you have the right to speak your piece-but nobody has the right to be heard or seen.

PP's 'free speech' rights are not violated in any way. They can always purchase their OWN bus and plaster it...

Third, only an abortion absolutist would conflate an innocent baby with an adult making a conscious choice at inflicting harm on another human.

For bringing this up. I wish the Des Moines metro transit had the same policy. We had the atheist advertisements for months. I would like to see Des Moines follow the same policy as Boston. Public transportation should not support agendas.
