Just last week,
Speaker Pelosi
killed the idea of a war tax. Today,
Sen. Ben Nelson
(D-Neb.) introduced
another version of it
, this time in the form of bonds. The "United States War Bonds Act of 2009" is modeled on the war bonds sold during WWII. It probably
won't go anywhere
.

The government sold bond's that were backed by the federal government. Now that the government is run by a bunch of puppet monkeys, the backing via the government is worthless. It is kind of hard to sell worthless paper to most people unless they are of the libtard persuasion.

Have such a kick-rear military even China will think twice; have the most robust capitalist system possible; have the free-ist citizenry history has ever known. Everything else is crap.

old days when the Government ASKED for our help instead of raping us unwillingly?

Because our 'leaders' (Rs and Ds) have been spending on domestic and military goodies for decades now without telling Americans exactly how much all this will cost us and asking us if we're willing to sacrifice our money to buy it.
They've been charging it 'harmlessly' and 'painlessly' on the credit cards.
At some point, we're going to have to decide what our priorities are, and I can't imagine a lot of people are going to think hopping over to various third world countries trying to bring them democracy is going to be worth the cost.
