All the audience was asking was for MSNBC and FOX to take the voices away from their earshot...
Certainly, there won't be a single viewer who agrees with the so called reporters.

It's long overdue. The press has long taken for themselves a god-like mantle that exempts them from any human decency...rudeness as exemplified here, prying questions of those who have just lost a loved one (no, we DON'T have a RIGHT to know how they're feeling at this moment), failure to put down the camera & mic to help a victim, crossing barricades we can't & demanding special passes just because they're "the press",etc. I'm glad those attendees had the guts to stand up for themselves and point out rudeness. We no longer fear the press, so I bet we'll see more of this.
Those stations could have had just a camera filming the speakers, and then had their frontman out in the lobby. A good editor could pull shots from both cameras...

I like how the MSNBC field reporter tried to be fair by saying the woman who was complaining might have a point as she did pay to hear the speakers so probably wasn't one of the organizers, but O'Donnell would have none of that, and decided that she's probably one of the speakers who also payed to be there.
O'Donnell should be happy we posted it here though, it doubled her ratings.

They caused some annoyance for some folks in the back during the live feed to the studio. A few of those same folks requested the reporters to leave. The correspondents continued to try and report but then broke off coverage.
THAT'S IT.
END.....OF.....STORY.

Of course they didn't interupt the speakers.
They were making it so the audience in the back couldn't hear the speakers.
And when asked to take the noise outside they acted like teenagers. They could have done that report from anywhere in the building. They weren't focused on the speakers.
As for the conference being disorganized...... I expect my guests to be respectful of my other guests.
But the fault should fall on the event organizers.
They messed up by expecting members of the press to behave like adults.

The reporters were in the back of the room. The speakers were unaware of the reporters.
This is a non-story.
Very poor choice for a TOWNHALL blog.

A media with a God complex
"Let me see if I understand. Joe wilson interrupts the president and that is rude. Reporters covering a story to which they are invited continue to speak after being told they are too loud for some of the attendees to hear."
I can't wait for the next move from these arrogant reporters. How about a Fox reporter standing on the field during the middle of an inning in the World Series. "We are here live with Derek Jeter to find out his views on this important game."
Or picture this. MSNBC setting up on stage at Jimmy Carters funeral while standing next to Barack Obama giving the eulogy. I can just see Obama asking them what the heck they think ther are doing, and the MSNBC guy saying "We are...

Granted, Mr. Rosen is a considered a court jester at FOX. The Veep’s over there however need to sit him down and do some remedial instruction in decorous behavior for professionals.
He came off as prissy repeatedly asserting his ‘I’m doing my job.’
Yes, yes, but you’re doing it poorly.
Go ‘sotto voce’;as is done all the time in public rooms by the covering press. You need to whisper Sir.
The NBC tout was a complete lout. He actually raised his voice in pique when called out. The indignant, “Don’t touch the microphone” would have garnered from me a quick snatch away to teach him his immediate place.
Ms. O’Donnell continues to sing for her meds at Rockefeller Plaza.
Judging from her eyes, she...

How tellingly obvious this single clip is. It's the perfect illustration of why the majority of true Americans not only dis-trust the "Drive-Bys," but why their irrelevance becomes more apparent everyday.

I guess even when you are "invited" you are allowed to act whatever way you want even if it disrupts the event for some. It wasn't the attendees that were being rude. The reporters could have covered the story differently.
The Fox reporters acted better than the MSNBC reporters. That is why I no longer watch MSNBC. Even if the organizers screwed things up, that does not give the media the right to interfere and to continue to interfere after being told that the attendees could not here.

I think it's great that citizens are bold enough to step in front of a live camera and tell these boobs to be quiet. Did you notice how hostile the reporters became? There's a prime example of how they feel they are removed from the masses, they are an elite and above any rules for others, including the rules of manners and civility. I also noticed how the MSNBC anchor spun this to say that the attendees are nutjobs. But, what did you expect from that channel?

...with the speaker. That's just common decency.
I was at the 9/12 rally at the DC Capitol. In the middle of one of the speeches, the Capitol police, lined up on their motorcyles and started revving their engines and drowned out the speaker.
What's up with that? Simply rude and sophomoric. Even more so since WE are paying THEIR salary.

Apparently, the organizers thought the press would come in, sit down and enjoy the show.
No way. Not in their job description. As the Fox reporter noted, they had a job to do. They're working! In this case, covering an event, getting live pictures and audio and telling the public what's going on.
That's what the FOX AND the MSNBC reporters attempted to do.
Obviously, those in charge of the meeting lacked management skills. TOWNHALL leaders should not let this happen again. Once was enough.

Yea to the people that stood up to them and boos to the security guards that pulled the one man out. Its about time these stuffed shirts got a lesson in civility and manners.

The MSNBC anchor was trying desperately to maintain her preferred narrative of conservative closed-mindedness or incivility - despite the reporter stating it was a matter of disruption and the other correspondent pointing out that it was not an organizer of the event who was complaining.
Obviously the reporters feel their profession is being infringed upon (just as attendees honestly became annoyed) - but only the MSNBC anchor sought to make more of it than it was.
