Tucker Carlson Gets Megyn Kelly's Old Time Slot on Fox

On Wednesday, cable news viewers wondered who would take over the 9 p.m. slot on Fox News after Megyn Kelly announced she'd be leaving the network for NBC News. A day later, the mystery was solved. Tucker Carlson will be hosting the coveted hour. Matt Drudge broke the news on Thursday.

Carlson currently hosts "Tucker Carlson Tonight" during the 7 p.m. hour, where he routinely debates liberal guests.

"Tucker has already proven to be an audience powerhouse at 7 PM, now sky is the limit!" a source told Drudge.

As for Kelly, she will be hosting a daytime program and a Sunday night show on NBC, as well as contribute to breaking news coverage.
