"Investigators are also looking at social media postings they believe the shooter made, a source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN. The night before the attack, the shooter appears to have had a conversation with others online about his intentions, that source said."

Dr. Hans Notenboom of CNN added that PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, which is about 70 miles north of the college, received three victims. Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, where Umpqua Community College is located, received nine victims, with two more en route.

In a press conference, Dr. Hans NotenBoom of PeaceHealth did not give any details on the condition of the victims. He said that the hospital deployed additional resources to take care of the wounded, along with outside resources to accommodate the families. All three patients at PeaceHealth were flown in, and he can’t say if any more patients would be arriving at the hospital, though he said that’s subject to change.
