A "Lost Dog" Got Hillary and Trump Supporters to Recognize Their Shared Humanity

This election cycle has been awful, and it seems as though Americans are more divided than ever. Pedigree dog food, however, had a hunch at what might bring Americans together despite their political differences: an adorable "lost" dog.

To test this theory, Pedigree sent out someone dressed in a Hillary Clinton shirt to a Donald Trump rally, and had her walk around with a "lost" dog looking for the owner. They repeated the experiment with the same woman dressed in a Trump shirt at a Clinton rally.

Watch what happened here:

Awwwwww.

It's important to remember, regardless of what happens later today, that there are perfectly legitimate reasons to vote for both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Trump supporters are not evil. Neither are Clinton supporters.
