For those on the left professing untold anguish about Romney's remarks this morning about the very poor (widely taken out of context), there's yet more bad news: The House has passed a bill prohibiting the withdrawal of welfare funds in casinos, strip clubs and liquor stores.
Is this just an ominous harbinger of a President Romney's treatment of the very poor? How outrageous!
UPDATE: So now we're being told that -- not only is the legislation heartless -- it's racist, too. And if you can believe it, a US representative is making that argument. How insulting to those she's purporting to defend!
