Tim Pawlenty Endorses Mitt Romney

Ahead of tonight's CNN/Tea Party Express GOP presidential candidate debate on the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida, former Minnesota Governor and GOP presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty has endorsed former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for the nomination. Pawlenty made the announcement earlier this morning on Fox and Friends. The Romney campaign has posted the endorsement on their website.

Pawlenty's endorsement of Romney is an interesting one considering Pawlenty's "Obamneycare" comments during his campaign, which ended shortly after the Ames Iowa Straw Poll in August. Pawlenty also expressed frustration with himself after he failed to hit Romney as hard as originally intended for his healthcare plan/insurance mandate in Massachusetts early in the summer.

Smells like Pawlenty wants a VP spot....
