In fairness, the poll isn't exactly packed with rainbows and sunshine for Republican leaders, either:

While the gap is not as wide as it is with the Democratic leaders, the two Republican congressional leaders also earn higher negatives than positives.

And that's before voters are confronted with this confounding assertion by (possible) Speaker-in-waiting, John Boehner:
