Christina Hoff Sommers Highlights Examples of "Real" Oppressed Women--And It's Not College Students

Between the UVA rape hoax and Columbia University student Emma Sulkowicz's performance art piece with her mattress, there's been much talk about the supposed "oppressed" state of American women, particularly college students. This was certainly an eye-opening video, and it's appalling that conditions in the United States are deemed to be on an equitable level with a country like Somalia, where women are subjected to horrific practices and have far fewer rights. Comparatively, life in the United States is a cakewalk.
