With Election Day at hand, voters are more narrowly divided than they have been for much of this year over which president to blame for the nation's current economic problems.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters say the economic problems are primarily due to the recession which began under President George W. Bush's administration. But 44% now feel the policies of President Obama are more to blame.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters trust their own judgment more than Obama's when it comes to the major economic issues affecting the nation. Only 31% trust the president's judgment more. A majority of voters have trusted themselves more than Obama to handle the economy since June of last year.
