Lilly in the emerald city, there is no proof that Obama's mother and his father were ever married. That would make your hero the first fatherless equal opportunity affirmative action unwanted accident of birth (should have been but abortion wasn't legal then, but if Obama had his way, he would have never been born) President of His Own Alternative Dimension, complete with imaginary friends. Oh, you live there, also. Say hi to the dark horse of a different color, and religion, and grip on reality.

Do you know anything about the number of files than can be placed in the root directory of a flashdrive?

Would it depend on the size of the drive?
I ran out of file allocation at 180 on a 2gig drive.
I can get all the files I want on the disk by using directories but I need these particular files in root.

You seem to be the one who is GULLIBLE!
Since you HAVE NO BRAIN I would not expect you to know anything about the accuracy of polls.

People of normal intellect are aware that most polls taken a long time prior to elections use slanted questions to obtain results that please whoever hires them, then will change to more truthful numbers near elections to preserve reputations.
Rasmussen is noted for being CONSISTENTLY CORRECT!

As to my charities?
NOT THAT IT IS ANY OF YOUR DAMNED BUSINESS;
DAV - BSA - VFW

Did you bother to read that link that proves YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT POLITICS?

As to my advanced age?
A sot like you can't possibly hope to live as long.
My brain is clear, I still drive and manage my own affairs.
YOU already show signs of incompetence!
William Wrote: Dec 19, 2009 11:37 PM
Look, old Horse, you promised a while ago to stop shouting. I cannot think why you would post a link to a http://www.rasmussen page without wondering why anyone with a brain would look to Scott Rasmussen for a self-critique.

Ah, well, perhaps at your age having your leg pulled is fun (or does he just pull your finger?)

I do hope that your children counsel you as to what charities you should support.
MyOpine stuck in CA Wrote: Dec 19, 2009 11:23 PM

You are posting great examples of your ignorance.
This link proves you don't know anything about McCain or Sorros or you would not make such foolish statements.

Rasmussen polls are consistently the most accurate.

Please try to control your insufferable arrogance long enough to understand TH is not an English Grammar class and we don't need any self appointed buffoon to play teacher, AND, AND YOU SHOULD BE THE LAST PERSON IN THE WORLD TO CRITIQUE ANYONE'S POSTS!

You come on TH either DRUNK or STONED ON DOPE and post some of the most obfuscated crap I have ever seen!
I keep expecting the Office Of Homeland Security to arrest you for sending coded messages!

People ARE what they know!
YOU apparently know NOTHING!
AND YOU ARE NOTHING!

and to conservatives that money is piling up in society, ready to be spent. The key: passage of the health reform issue.

And every poster has a program that lights up the word when the poster has chosen the wrong spelling. Few have reason to move so quickly that corrections cannot be made.

horse who agreed to run for the office even though there was no hope for a win. Nothing to do with Mr Soros or MSM. Neither Romney nor Huckabee have any real cred in the larger political world. And the PALIN was brought aboard by F Graham who has come to see himself as a kingmaker (because his daddy made money and saved it).

And has any poster here observed that Scott Rasmussen ever accepted money from the Democrats to create a poll for them? Fair and Balanced?

Get off your high horse. I know tons of Libertarians, in fact, I used to go to Libertarian meetings all the time and sir, you are not what a good Libertarian represents. If you want to spend most of your time spell checking and looking back at your grammar, that's fine, but your continued critique of mine and others grammar and spelling just proves you have nothing of value. Get over yourself and stop claiming to be a Libertarian, it's an insult to real Libertarians. Wow!!! Talk about the typical liberal antics, shows your real colors. OK, your turn. Give me your best shot. I'm looking forward to the BS from your self admiration.

I don't know of any laws regulating consenting ADULTS in their own bedroom.

As to Drug Laws;
This "War on Drugs" is being fought as a holding action, just like our "War on Terror".
If we are going to stop drug use, we should pull out the stops and get serious.

Either fight to win or stop wasting resources piddling around.

The BCS is so liberal.

Akagi stated being with both sides at certain times depending on the situation.

Where would you be with the liberals/leftists/Statists when it comes to infringing on my libertarian beliefs?

Seriously, I find your statement/comment I referenced hard to believe.

Abortion, do not look for the government to solve the issue of abortion.

Is that your position?

"if only Huckabee or Romney had been in from the start, perhaps McCain would have lost,"

Or get rid of the GOP winner take all primaries. McCain's narrow victories early on turn into a landslide for him. Romney could have come back with proportional primaries.

Once again, I would have voted for Romney over Barr.

MyOpine stuck in CA Wrote: Dec 19, 2009 6:25 PM

You can argue your THEORY about "Moderate" Republicans until you are blue in the face and it will not change the FACT that McCain was chosen as a STRAW MAN by George Soros & MSM because they knew he did not stand the chance of a snowball in hell.

There is no such thing as a "Moderate Republican".
That is a phrase made up by Communist Fanatics to describe Leftists who are trying to sabotage the Republican Party.

You either believe in our Constitution and freedom or you do not.
Our Constitution can be amended but it can't be changed by lying and denying what the words mean.

You either believe in free enterprise or you believe American Industry should be politically sabotaged so the jobs are given to foreign Nations.

There is no gray area between freedom & slavery!

Much of the prison population could be reduced if the US ended its stupid war on drugs. No person should ever been put in prison unless he or she deprived someone of their life, liberty or property by force or fraud.

All laws against drug use and sex between consenting adults should be repealed.

"DO YOU SEE A SOLUTION?"

There is none nor will there ever be. Capitalism creates inequality and there will ALWAYS be inequality and that means some children will get far better educations than others. One way to help though would be to allow a parent to spend the money a school district pays for that child anywhere. Atlanta spends 12,000 per pupil meaning that student could spend that 12,000 in any school, public or private willing to accept him, in my own county it would be around 7,000. Next end the closed shop of schools forced to hire only "certified teachers" who graduate from a education program. If a person has a degree in math, he should be allowed to teach math, certificate or not.

Next end the micromanagement imposed on the schools by the Federal government, state government and school districts and let each school develop its own curriculum and policies, but let the students (and their parents) vote with the feet if the school doesn't meet their expectations.

But there will always be inequality. The students at Crim in Atlanta will always be at the bottom and this is thanks to the society they live in and those in Walton in East Cobb will always be near the top for the same reason.

I am a supporter of the Austrian School in economics and tend to support laissez faire policies like you see in Hong Kong. I opposed the bailout favoring the banks and other organizations to fail rather than being bailed out.

The Department of Education should be abolished and the funds turned into block grants and sent to the states or directly to the local districts as we here in NW Georgia are better equipped to know what we need in NW Georgia than someone in DC who has never been here or have never even heard of the county I am sitting in this second.

No, not a liberal at all.
MyOpine stuck in CA Wrote: Dec 19, 2009 6:07 PM

Education is the greatest factor governing opportunity.
Are all men really born equal?
Will a single woman who dropped out of school pregnant be able to give her child the same guidance at home as any parent reading this?
Is lack of education the fault of a child or lack of counseling by parents at home?
What opportunities are available for a young person who can't even read an application for honest employment?
Illegals fill many of America's starter jobs right now and they will stay on them till they retire or die.
Politicians soften curriculum in our public schools but they send their own children to private schools.
Until all children, of all color receive proper educations there can never be equality.
I don't know of any way to provide uniform home environment but competition caused by school choice would go a long way toward improving education and improving education might improve home environment for future generations.
How many more lives will be wasted in prisons before the primary cause is corrected?

DO YOU SEE A SOLUTION?

Education in prisons would help lower recidivism.
It cost $33,000 per year to incarcerate people who are unable to enter honest Society.
Lowering the return ratio would pay a few teachers.
Akagi Wrote: Dec 19, 2009 6:04 PM
If you look at the states McCain won, you will see he won a number of closed states and lost a number of open ones--he won because he was the only real moderate in the race and the conservative base was split between Huckabee and Romney (some Huckabee voters not wanting him because of his Mormon faith), if only Huckabee or Romney had been in from the start, perhaps McCain would have lost, if there had been a viable moderate early in places like New Hampshire, perhaps McCain would have lost, but this wasn't the case--the conservative vote was split, the moderate vote wasn't.

Might I add that George Bush (41) was seen as part of the moderate wing of the party and why he was picked by Reagan in 1980 and he won in 1988.

On the subject of the 2008 vote on McCain, you are completely ignorant of the circumstances.

I know that will not prevent you from publishing your ignorance but if you go back to the post you are attempting to critique and read the link posted with it, it might help enlighten you to the truth of the words in that post.

If you make an attempt to learn what is happening in the Republican Party right now you will understand why we are not likely to elect a RINO to anything for any reason.
RINOs are exactly why Communists are in control of Government right now!
Republicans have taken enough abuse for the damage done to America by a handfull of RINOs.

John McCain is the most hated man in the Republican Party.
He is so far Left that Kerry wanted him for VP!
AND Hillary Clinton approved of McCain for Democrat VP!
