Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) singled out GOP presidential candidate John McCain and House Republicans as the chief obstacles to passing a rushed $700 billion financial bailout package.

He was especially steamed McCain suspended his presidential campaign to work on the bailout.

“The insertion of presidential politics has not been helpful,” Reid said in a press availability from the Capitol Friday morning. “It’s been harmful.”

The Democratic Leader said it was not important for McCain and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to actively take part in the deal because “the two presidential aspirants are not members of the Banking committee and never have been.”

McCain urged President Bush to call a high-level White House meeting to discuss the package on Thursday and suspended his campaign to attend it.

Reid said he called on McCain to “take a stand” on the bailout earlier in the week, but “all he’s done is stand in front of the cameras.”

Reid also targeted House Republicans for holding up the package, although the bill could pass Congress with Democratic majorities in the Senate and the House. He dismissed them for trying to offer a reduction in the capital gains tax as part of the bill. “Are they serious?” Reid asked sarcastically.

Without the Republican opposition Reid said a final bill could be agreed upon on Friday, drafted on Saturday and voted on by Sunday.

“The time is now for House Republicans to come to the negotiating table,” Reid said.

Stop the madness!
Follow the money. The Democrats have found a way to funnel money into their re-elections and buy votes at the same time. It all started down in Arkansas and gained power when the Democrats lost power in the early 90s.

Clinton gave power to "Acorn" through Motor-Voter registration. Acorn than signed up voters many of them questionable. Acorn then harassed businesses and government to extort funds for their causes or to extract favors.

One of their causes was to diminish the lending quality control in order to get housing for their supporters. This eventually led us to where we are today. Franks & Dodd are at the forefront of this scam.

Democrats are in charge now and they are funneling millions of dollars back into Acorn through grants to Acorn and/or states to buy up this property for their supports. Some of that money is being funneled back into the elected official's reelection fund.

Listen to Bill O'Reily's liberal, black professor from Chicago, I beleive. Bill has him on all the time. Bill had him on the hook the other night but then Bill let him go.

Bill aks him something like: is housing a right even though you did not earn it? The professor's response indirectly was yes. He and Hussein are community organizers.

Wake up people. Our pockets are being picked as we go over this economic cliff.

The Dems will wilt
under the glare of scrutiny. Obama's hiding out on the campaign trail, because his presence in Washington will raise more questions about his contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and he's letting the party hit men who put him where he is deal with it lying about McCain.

"They'll call me if they need me."

You call that a leader? That's why he didn't want to stay and work on this in Washington and postpone the debates.
