Lebron Wears Beto Hat, Loses to the Spurs 110-106

National basketball superstar Lebron James has waded back into politics yet again as he was spotted wearing a hat in support of Beto O'Rourke for Senate against incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz (TX-R) prior to a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

James has shown support for Beto in the past. Over the summer, a video went viral of the liberal politician spouting his approval of NFL players who take a knee. 

James retweeted this video, saying, "A Must Watch!!!  Salute @BetoORourke for the candid thoughtful words!"

President Donald Trump and Lebron James have butted heads in the past regarding politics. 

Lebron James said in a CNN interview with Don Lemon "that he would not be willing to sit down with President Trump. Lemon asked him, "What would you say to the president if he were sitting right here?"

James responded, "I would never sit across from him."

Following that interview, President Trump that Lebron James somehow managed to make  Lemon look smart.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the San Antonio Spurs last night 110-106 and have fallen to 2-4 on the season.
