There are many reasons to believe why Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s “hush money” case against former President Donald Trump is politically motivated— and this week's testimony settled that theory.

The Manhattan prosecutor who questioned porn star Stormy Daniels about her alleged sexual affair with Trump has a long record of bending over backward for the Democratic Party.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Susan Hoffinger reportedly donated to President Joe Biden’s 2020 election campaign.

She donated $500 to Biden’s election campaign in 2020, including $250 in February, and another $250 in March that same year. Hoffinger also wrote a check of more than $900 to ActBlue— a fundraising organization that supports Democratic candidates and far-left causes.

The FEC records also indicate Hoffinger has donated a hefty sum to Democrat candidates and left-leaning organizations in 2018 and 2020. She made her first political contributions to former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

In addition to Hoffinger, Bragg’s team is made up of several Democrat donors.

Matthew Colangelo, a senior counsel in the Trump case, donated $400 to former President Obama’s campaign and was paid nearly $12,000 by the Democratic National Committee in 2018.

It was also revealed that Colangelo was the third-ranking official in Biden’s Justice Department. At the same time, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) requested records from Colangelo’s time at the Justice Department.

Judge Juan Merchan— who is overseeing the Trump case— also donated to Biden’s 2020 campaign and numerous liberal groups that same year.

Merchan has faced repeated accusations of being compromised in the case against Trump after it was revealed that his daughter is a Democrat consultant and campaign fundraiser. She has previously worked with Vice President Kamala Harris and has raised millions of dollars from the Trump trial because of her family ties.
